Enterprise Education

BusinessGame.ie

This FREE on-line business simulation game for secondary school students in Ireland was launched earlier this year. The game allows the student to own and run their own GAA sports store for 52 ‘virtual’ weeks, making key business decisions every week, such as stock ordering, recruiting, financing, marketing & staff training.

This business game is an educational resource for the classroom which can engage students in concepts and skills development through a medium which appeals to them.

Student Enterprise Awards

The Student Enterprise Awards is a national initiative organised by the County & City Enterprise Boards, aiming to foster an enterprise culture among second level students in Ireland. It offers the students an opportunity to take a business from the idea stage, through market research, to production, selling, record keeping, management and finally to writing a comprehensive report on the activity.

There are three categories in the awards scheme:

                               & Youthreach Students
